Best of Anastasia Beverly Hills

Anastasia Beverly Hills is one of my favourite high end brands, their products are really high quality and their packaging always looks lovely. So in today posts I’m going to be sharing with you my favourite ABH products, enjoy reading!

Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette

It wouldn’t be an ABH blog post without this gem, this is my ride or die palette and I can’t seem to find anything better. This is the best palette I own and I’m always reaching for it, no matter how many palettes I purchase I always go back to this one!

Price: £43

Housed in a mirrored suede coated compact, the Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette contains fourteen thoughtfully curated shades.

Modern Renaissance Palette provides incredible colour pay off thanks to its intensely pigmented creamy formula. With the selection ranging from cranberry and brown toned hues in a combination of both matte and shimmer finishes the shadows are buildable and blendable for a customised finished look.

  • Tempera – A matte cream beige.
  • Golden Ochre – Earthy yellow with a matte finish.
  • Vemeer – An iridescent powder pink.
  • Buon Fresco – A matte lilac.
  • Antique Bronze – A burgundy toned chocolate brown with a cranberry shimmer.
  • Love Letter – A vivid raspberry with a matte finish.
  • Cyprus Umber – An intense matte finish chocolate brown.

If you’ve been following my blog since day 1, you will know how much I adore this palette. Just look at the shades, that is the perfect variety of shades for a warm toned lover, aka me. The thing I love about this palette is the potential, you can create so many different eyeshadow looks. Feeling a natural look? Modern Renaissance. Feeling warm tones with a shimmer on the lid? Modern Renaissance. Feeling a pink / burgundy eyeshadow look? Modern Renaissance. Are you convinced to buy it yet?

So let’s get into the nitty gritty of the palette. Pigmentation is the main selling point of it, it’s the most pigmented palette I’ve ever tried and owned. The colour pay off is amazing, and you know sometimes when you put shades on the lid then they just blend into nothing? Not Modern Renaissance. Also, the colour range. Beautiful. Another benefit is the blendability, these blend like an actual dream. There’s no sitting around blending until your arm feels like it’s going to fall off, these blend so easily and quickly.

Is it worth the £43 you’re thinking, yes it is. For £43 you get 14 shades. That’s £3.07 per eyeshadow, that is amazing value considering ABH single eyeshadows are £12 each.

Dipbrow Pomade

This is an OG product, I’ve used this for years and I always go back to it. I’ve repurchased it several times, and no matter what else I try, I always find myself reaching for this!

Price: £19

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade is a waterproof brow colour which sculpts and defines the brows.

The ultimate choice for perfectly precise brows, Dipbrow Pomade has a smudge free, creamy formula which glides effortlessly onto the skin and adheres to the brow hairs for optimal definition. Perfect for oily skin and humid climates, Dipbrow Pomade can be used as a brow definer or eyeliner and provides luxurious colour and sculpture.

Available in a selection of shades to suit all brow colours, Dipbrow Pomade also primes the brows for brow powder application and leaves the brows looking perfectly groomed, defined and flawless. (Taken from Beauty Bay)

I know in one of my recent posts I ranted on and on about how expensive this is and you can get dupes that are just as good, but there’s nothing like the ABH Dipbrow Pomade. I’ve been using quite a lot recently, mines dried up so I spray a little bit of Mac Fix + in it, then this brings it back to life.

The product just glides on, and the pigment is crazy so be careful and make sure you have a steady hand! I use my dipbrow if I want an ‘insta brow’, this gives me a sharp and defined brow without having to carve it out. Another benefit is the shade range, it’s huge. There’s definitely a shade for everyone as they have so many different undertones and colours to match anyone’s hair colour.

The only thing I don’t like about this is the price, £19 for a pomade is a bit steep but in my eyes it’s worth it, it’s the best one I’ve tried and no other brow product seems to compare with the ABH brow products.

Brow Wiz

Again, the brow wiz, an absolute classic. I feel like ABH definitely become popular because of her amazing brow products.

Price: £22

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz is an ultra-fine brow pencil which fills in sparse brows for a naturally full effect.

Featuring a mechanical pencil and spoolie brush, Brow Wiz is the ultimate brow pencil for convenient and effortless brow maintenance. The fine tip helps to mimic the appearance of individual hairs for a smudge proof natural look that lasts all day. (Taken from Beauty Bay)

I ordered the brow wiz specifically for the front of my brows, so I ordered a lighter shade (soft brown) and honestly it done its job very well. Sadly, it’s run out (I know, tragic), but I can’t quite bring myself to paying £22 for a brow pencil, this is the only downside to this product.

Again, same with the dipbrow pomade, the shade range is big and there’s a shade for anyone and everyone. The nib is so fine you can actually mimic brow hairs, which is what I used it for at the front of my brow. Obviously you can also use it to fill in the whole brow which is really nice if you want a natural brow, really quick to do as well.

Liquid Lipsticks

This is such a well known ABH product, when these first come out everyone went crazy over them and they’re definitely worth the hype.

Price: £20

A long-lasting liquid lipstick.

Available in a range of highly-pigmented colours, Liquid Lipstick comes with a sponge applicator that smooths product over lips with maximum precision and impact. Formulated with different finishes, each shade provides a wash of unique, long-lasting colour. (Taken from Beauty Bay)

I LOVE these liquid lipsticks, I have the shade dusty rose and it’s the perfect muted pink! They have 33 shades available, ranging from nudes to reds to blacks, so there’s a shade for everyone.

The formula of these are amazing, they last all day, through eating, drinking, talking, and they aren’t drying. The one thing I hate about liquid lipsticks is how dry some of them are, but the ABH ones are so good. Also, they’re so pigmented! One swipe and it’s so opaque.

And that’s everything for this post! I hope you enjoyed reading, see you soon 😘
